Ra Ra Riot - Each Year

The Kickback: Indigenous Newspapermen Circa 1980.

I typically don’t take chances on bands or song titles that are long and awkward. Sometimes it can imply the song is nuanced and original, at other times it reveals a song that is obtuse and pretentious. This is the former. Not half bad.
Enjoy.
Surfer Blood - Floating Vibes.
Good surf-rock. Definitely crucial for summer listening habits.
Start your day of right: with some funky shit.
It’s a beautiful day here in Toronto. And as the city awakes to itself I require a soundtrack to express what spring feels like. This is it today.
Secret Cities - Pink Graffiti Party Part One.
On the referral of a good friend of mine, Aaron Ries, I checked this band out. It was… rewarding. They sound close to the kind of band I want to start, a cross between Interpol and The Beach Boys. The band is Real Estate. The song is Green River.
Enjoy,
J.
